“In Charleston, mothers aren’t just rising through the ranks — they’re rewriting the rules. Whether they’re running a job site, scaling a business or leading a team meeting before heading to soccer pickup, Charleston’s women are proving that leadership and motherhood aren’t mutually exclusive. In fact, one often fuels the other. Across the Lowcountry, women are shaping the way work works. But it’s not just what they’re doing that’s powerful. It’s how they’re doing it. They lead with presence instead of pretense. With clarity instead of ego. With purpose instead of perfection. Charleston’s women are no longer playing by someone else’s rules of leadership. They’re writing their own. And they’re doing it in a way that makes space for both ambition and authenticity. They’re asking questions like: What kind of culture am I building? Does my team feel seen? Am I proud of how I show up at work and at home?
And perhaps most importantly, they’re doing it together. That’s where The Helm comes in.”
